I was recently gifted a few items from tobi.com* and thought I’d style them with you within the theme of date outfits ❤
Valentines this year for me was spent working the day in Liverpool and then popping over to London to cover The Chainsmokers show at Alexandra Palace, on the weekend we had 2 Cream Classical Ibiza shows which were mostly spent again working / capturing content so by the time Sunday came around I was just ready to spend the day in bed with good ‘ol netflix.
Literally no dates or romance was involved whatsoever, however Jean-Michael did surprise me with a bunch of Roses to the office on the day before Valentines which was super sweet. He knew I was coming to London for the night and wasn’t sure if I was going to be in the office on actual Valentines day – cutie. So this year we decided to postpone our ‘Valentines’ date and move it to a weekend in March, now I know what you’re thinking – a bit late isn’t it? Well, factually – it is but in theory not? Being in a long distance relationship you have to comprise more and better plan your time together as we don’t really have the luxury to sporadically go out on dinner dates or other trips as every time we visit each other literally every second counts. Anyways, I thought I’d show you a few date outfits that I will be planning on wearing on one of our ‘Valentines’ dates next month and perhaps it could help you plan yours?
As soon as I saw this dress* online I couldn’t help but think – how cute! I love the lace details and the super sweet deep V. This dress can be dressed up or down in my opinion so in this occasion I paired it with a simple turtle neck along with black accessories to let the colour of the dress do the talking.
Now this off the shoulder dress* is a rather sweet number if I do say so myself. I’ve become a little bit obsessed with polka dots at the moment and this is the perfect way to revamp an old classic look. I can imagine myself wearing this strolling around town as well as on a movie date night paired with a leather jacket. The material itself is quite on the silky side and very comfortable to wear for whatever the day entails.
You can never go wrong with the classic LBD*. A simple slip dress style takes all the stress out of getting dressed and means you get to spend more time on other details of your look i.e makeup and accessories. I adore the lace and tie up details of this maxi, making your whole aura that little bit alluring. This is a definite dinner and drinks number; throw on some heels and give your hair a little bit more TLC and boom! You are ready to go.
Hope you liked my little date outfit posts – which one was your favourite look? 🌹
