Has there ever been that one bag  you naturally gravitate towards?
From running errands, to night outs; this Michael Kors bag is definitely my go to. It's cute, bright and I swear that it shares the magic of a Mary Poppins bag. It really packs a punch with any monochromatic outfit and yes, on this occasion I intentionally matched my  lipstick to my hand bag (Candy yum-yum from mac if your interested).

This whole shoot was completely impromptu; I was literally running to get Ramen noodles and spices from Bold street with my boyfriend and on the way thought this backdrop would be great to compliment my outfit. At the time we started shooting there was no one in sight. But of course, as soon as we started to snap - BAM! crowds of people came... Not gonna lie, i've only been blogging a short time - so I am still totally new to this whole posing in public thing. I don't think the constant stares and sometimes overly-interactive or negatively charged curiosity of passers will ever not be present; but I guess this is what the the Super-bloggers do *cringe* - they are fiercely focused whatever their surrounding. I think it's safe to say i'm definitely heading that way (comfortable with the uncomfortable) there just comes a point in your life where you just don't care about what people think and you quickly learn to block that negativity out, especially if it's right there in your face - an essential life skill i'd say.

Iphone 6 Plus Case: Skinny Dip London

Anyways! Can we just take a moment to appreciate this beauty please? My boyfriend kindly gifted this adorable phone case from Skinny Dip London as part of my Valentine's day presents and I literally love everything about it. Another great addition to my compliment my pink bag >.<

New In | Casual Culotte

Coat, Jumpsuit & Bag: Zara | Sunglasses: Spitfire via Asos Shoes: Adidas Superstar

I'm not usually a big sales kinda gurl. Don't get me wrong, I do really love a bargain - I just hate BUSY shops and people not knowing the meaning of personal space... Everyone seems to be completely different when they see big red signs saying SALE! SALE!. In response, I've become an avid online shopper and with extra 10% sometimes even 30% off codes it's super hard to resist. I see you ASOS >.<

This January / February the majority of my sales haul was made online, more specifically Zara online. I find that the best deals on Zara always happen around the 3rd / 4th week of January, I get the vibe that's when they majorly discount things and so that's usually the prime time for me to shop.
Whilst actually going to collect an order I had made; I proceeded to make a couple more purchases in store. Luckily I went after work and everything was still perfectly hung and not sprawled across the floor - I'll take that as the Fashion god's way of saying... This is for you gurl, go for it.

I think my favourite buy was this culotte jumpsuit; I absolutely ADORE the pattern, the cut and the way it just hangs on the body and at a marvellous price of £12.99. I decided to style these with my new Adidas Superstars; which I finally possess having eyed them on the shelves for a verrrrryyy long time! Yes I am SUPER late to the game... But now that I have them I don't know how I've ever lived >.<

What have you picked up from the sales this year?, I'd really love to see!

Ka-Blooooom | Vintage Kilo Sale Finds

Thursday, 4 February 2016

There's something about grab a bags' that really excite me. The last time I went vintage hunting was around 2 years ago at the East End Thrift Store (which was awesome by the way - you should definitely go if you're around East London). Luckily through Facebook I noticed that  the infamous Vintage Kilo Sale was coming to my home-town on a weekend and so naturally, I spread the word to the Fam :) I came back with a pretty sizeable bag full of goodies all for £15 and this beaut of a dress was one of them!

This was actually a floor length maxi dress on me to begin with, but with a little bit of trimming it turned out to be a pretty-sweet above the knee dress. What drew me to this particular item was not only the super-eye catching; initial explosion of dark florals but also the lovely and intricate details that came into view upon approach - it has very sensitive ruffles (love them).
The dress allows me a casual Anthropologie-esq feel when I wear it. I decided to team this with my camel coat for warmth and a knitted headband to go with the whole vibe.

Have you experienced any crazy, vintage kilo-sales? Link me your finds i'd love to see!
