Now I know what you're thinking, I got a few 'Cam-NOs' from several people when discussing the trend, but for some reason I was instantly drawn to this at H&M.  It honestly is one of the softest shirts I own and it just about fits as a shirtdress hehe. I've paired it on this occasion with my super comfy flat over the knee boots and my trustworthy parka from Pull and Bear a while back. I'll definitely be wearing this more over the winter as its a super-good layering piece to have for the colder months.

What are your thoughts on Camo prints, yay or nay?

The Most Luxurious Leggings | Wolford

Thursday, 12 November 2015

I must admit, when Wolford's PR agency contacted me regarding a review for one of their core collections I jumped at the chance! Prior to this I own a few pairs of their illustrious luxury tights - which help me not only look chic but keep me super warm in the winter. All their boutiques exude luxury, and although it is a high-end brand with an accompanied price, you get what you expect and they don't disappoint.

Now lemme tell you somthin' As soon as the package arrived at my work desk I squealed with excitement. From the elegant and eloquently packed-packaging I knew I was going to love it. I chose the 'Holly Leggings' to review as it is an essential part of their core collection and I just really wanted to see what the hype's all about really. I have to say the quality was exceptional, just as you'd except from a high end specialist fashion brand; the leggings are so thick that they are even advertised on the site as 'a wonderful alternative to tights' - which I have to say is pretty true. They are luxuriously thick and a truly pigmented pair of leggings. Not only are they super comfortable to wear but you definitely get the feel that they have provided a wonderful balance in warmth, fit and of course, chic versatility.

On this occasion I styled the leggings with my latest pay day purchase - a classic Zara polkadot shirt with a dainty neck tie detail. A lighter palette is used to compliment the leggings, from a baby blue shoulder bag to a white and marble effect style ring. However, if you don't know yet; i love gold. I couldn't help myself but match my accessories to my shoes, a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's circa 2011-2012 which i'm still completely besotted with.

Have you ever heard of Wolford and is it me or do you too have anything you can't let go of in your wardrobe?

Zuso Clothing Event | The Old Blind School

Thursday, 5 November 2015

Jacket: Miss Selfridge | Scarf: Gucci
Photographer: Myself Kariza Refuerzo

A couple of weeks back I received an event invitation for the the Zuso Clothing AW15 to be held at the stunning Old Blind School. I again decided to see if the gal-pals were up for a Tuesday treat and they graciously said yes ^^
As soon as I arrived I was greeted with the warmest welcome and a bright pink goodie bag! The red carpet made the atmosphere extra luxe.  We were inundated with drinks, cupcakes and even a sweet stand!; which definitely went into my lunch bag for the next day ;). There were various delightful activities at hand - from an immersion into the make up and beauty at Harvey Nichols to meeting with the girls from the Day & Night application (an app which basically lets you know what's going on around Liverpool for the coming week).  ALSO Juice FM DJ spinning tracks (cant go without a DJ now can we?).

Now Zuso Clothing is new online boutique filled with amazing trend-setting fashion labels from the likes of Girls On Film to Lavish Alice. They had a great selection of hand picked garments from beautifully embellished jackets to dynamic printed dresses, all very suited to the fashion-forward fashionista.

On that wonderful evening, I had the pleasure of meeting Phoebe from Chic PR, she was just the most lovely host!
Needless to say from the moment you went in to the moment you stepped out the event you definitely felt gorgeous and giddy at the sight of what turned out to be another fun night on the town.

 Can't resist a selfie / snapchat! >.<

Autumn Breeze

Sleeveless Jacket & Bag: Rare London | Jumper: Primark | Shorts: Vintage Levis | Belt: Vintage
Photographer: Kariza Refuerzo

It's officially autumn, if not almost winter and i'm still really not ready to let go of summer.. I find transitioning wardrobes so difficult, part of me can't let go of shorts and floaty dresses and the other can't wait to bring out the slouchy jumpers and fuzzy furs - faux of-course.

Praise the lord for this sleeveless trench coat! A must in this super-awkward-hot-but-cold transition period.
When my morning commute gets too cold this sleeveless trench provides extra warmth underneath my parka and makes any outfit underneath look somewhat put-together and chic. On this occasion I have paired this with a super-comfy, light marl polo-neck from Primark and my favourite pair of vintage blue Levi's from Camden Market.

Are you finding it difficult to dress for this season? Or am I the only gyal in the blogging world that's not so into autumn..

White Luxe

Thursday, 15 October 2015

Receiving your first piece of blogger mail marks one of the most rewarding and exciting feels I have gotten since starting to blog! A lovely email from Luxemme came across my inbox regarding a review and soon enough a well-packed parcel was sent to me. As with anything white originally I was worried in-case the two-piece turned a little bit more see-through but to my pleasant surprise the cute double layer covers up what it should without the need for thinking, "hmm.. which underwear?".

I decided to keep things simple with this outfit, less is always more I feel when it comes to co-ords. I styled this with a pleather jacket from Motel Rocks which i've had for a few years now and some new sale bargains from Missguided! - side note, these shoes are not only gorgeous but also only cost £5! ;)  I'm pretty much party ready with this outfit!

Luxemme have done a wonderful job with this pleasing piece; which for me fits wonderfully as an outfit for the bridge between the seasons of summer and winter - A wonderfully mixed UK autumn.

Veeno Liverpool Branch Opening

Wednesday, 23 September 2015

Last month I was kindly invited to the grand opening of a new Italian-wine cafe named Veeno in Liverpool!
First thing I thought of, bring the girls! Francesca (fivemoreminutesxo) & Kariza graciously accepted my invitation; as it fell on a non-weekend our original plan was to just have one drink and scope out the new cafe... However, as soon as we went in I was refreshed and surprised at how quaint and quirky the atmosphere inside, and ended up staying till over 1am! I know, 1am on a school night. That's a pretty big deal right?

The whole evening we had plates of charcuterie type appetisers passed around, from a tasteful selection of cheeses to the classic accompaniment - parma ham. They were all very rich in flavour, delightfully reminding me of  the taste and true italian feel during my short time traveling around Sicily in the summer.

We had a fascinating conversation with the manager and several other workers, in which they explained to us that Veeno stems from a family-run business who pride themselves on selling only the very best of classic Sicilian wine straight from their own vineyards.

My favourite wine from the evening was definitely the Chardonnay, it had the most delicious aromatic notes of fruitiness with a smooth and elegant taste which just made it so easy to consume. Winner.

I do love the fact you can soak in a charmingly authentic Sicilian experience the moment you walk into the cafe; from the staff; to the actual product itself. Definitely check Veeno out when your around Liverpool; a perfect date night / evening with the girls place with some delicious food, service and most importantly Sicilian wine.

Easily Suede | The Skirt Of The Season

Tuesday, 8 September 2015

Hat: Forever 21 | Top, Jacket & Backpack: Primark | Skirt: Rare London | Shoes: Dune London

This Autumn / Winter it's all about the 70s, an eclectic mix of neutral palettes to warm rusts, suede and bell sleeves.
I think my most favourite silhouette of the 70s is the A-line, there stands something so very sophisticated and flattering that it exudes that classic retro luxury feel. Very much like this skirt from Rare London, I love not only the way it fits but also how soft mmm so soft and easy it is to style. On this occasion I simply styled it with a crop top and a sleeveless jacket and bam i'm pretty much good to go!
I bought these sunglasses from a car boot sale whilst I was in Uni for a mere £1 ^^
The seller actually sold it to me as his 'vintage playboy aviators from the 70s'. Groovy baby, i'll take it.

Are you a fan of the 70s trend? Let me know what you think!
